Description
Wald Park is a charming corner of greenery in Dresden's Blasewitz district, whose history dates back to the Middle Ages.
The park was designed by court gardener Hermann Sigismund Neumann, creator of the Albrechtsberg Palace gardens. Its transformation into a public green space was initiated by Arthur Willibald von Königsheim, who wanted to protect the area from land speculation.
Today, it is an ideal place for nature lovers, families with children and cyclists. It offers a tranquil atmosphere, lush vegetation and natural landscapes - a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
