Ledra Palace Hotel

Ledra Palace Hotel is a historic property in Nicosia, Cyprus, a witness to the island's turbulent history. This once luxurious hotel, built between 1947 and 1949, combines elements of colonial and Mediterranean architecture.

It was equipped with 94 rooms, two restaurants, two bars, a café and a ballroom with an orchestra. A swimming pool, children's wading pool and tennis courts were added in 1964.

Today, the hotel serves as the headquarters of the United Nations forces, but remains an important point on the map of Cyprus' cultural heritage and a popular destination for historical tours.
