Description
Pen y Fan is the highest peak in South Wales, rising 886 meters above sea level in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
This majestic mountain offers breathtaking views and several well-marked trails of varying difficulty. The site is famous for its unique flora and fauna, including rare lichens and wild Welsh ponies.
Interestingly, Pen y Fan is used by British Special Forces as part of the selection process for the famous 'Fan Dance' - a demanding 24km mountain walk.
