Description
Ojcowski National Park is a true natural gem located near Krakow. The picturesque Prądnik and Sąspowska valleys hide more than 400 limestone caves, including the famous Lokietek's Cave and the Dark Cave, where you can explore the underground by candlelight.
The park impresses with its biodiversity - more than 5500 species of animals, including 19 species of bats and 135 species of birds. History buffs will appreciate the ruins of the Gothic castle in Ojcow and the Renaissance castle in Pieskowa Skała, part of the Eagle's Nest Trail.
It's an ideal place for family walks, observing nature and discovering traces of settlements dating back to the Paleolithic era.
