Description
Park Angiolina is a historic botanical garden dating back to the mid-19th century and is a true gem of Opatija.
Here you will find more than 150 species of plants from all over the world, including rare specimens like ginkgo biloba, California cedar and giant sequoia. The symbol of the park has become the Japanese camellia, which impresses with its beauty.
Walking along the charming alleys, you can also admire the architectural features: a music pavilion, a group of stalagmites and the Swiss House, which houses the Museum of Tourism. The park stretches from Maršala Tita Street all the way to the Adriatic Sea, offering picturesque views.
