Description
The Presidential Palace in Bratislava is a magnificent example of Rococo architecture from 1760, built by Croatian Count Anton Grasalkovič.
It currently serves as the residence of the President of Slovakia. It is surrounded by a beautiful French-style garden, where you can admire trees planted by world leaders and a monument to composer Johann Nepomuk Hummel.
The palace has witnessed important historical events, including the signing of the Treaty of Prešburg in 1805. It is open to the public during the annual Open Door Days.
