Description
The Bieliński Palace in Otwock Wielki is a pearl of classicist architecture located on an artificial island in the old riverbed of the Vistula River. This 17th century monument, once the summer residence of the aristocratic Bieliński family, hosted King August II the Strong and John III Sobieski.
It now functions as the Museum of Interiors, a branch of the National Museum in Warsaw, where you can admire decor ranging from Baroque to Biedermeier, furniture, musical instruments and personal items of famous figures, including Ignacy Jan Paderewski.
A magnificent ballroom with excellent acoustics, richly decorated chambers and an orangery will delight lovers of history and art.
