مسار السلام 1 (Balcony Walk) is a fascinating hiking trail in the western Hajar Mountains, near Oman's highest peak, Jebel Shams.

This 8.2-kilometer trail offers breathtaking views of Wadi an Nakhur, known as the 'Grand Canyon of Oman.' The trail runs mostly downhill or on flat terrain, with occasional rocky sections, making it relatively easy to follow.

During the hike, you can discover a hidden cave and pool, as well as see the abandoned village of As Sab, which provides an interesting insight into Oman's history.
