Mutrah Promenade

Mutrah Promenade is a picturesque seaside promenade in the heart of Muscat, stretching about 3 kilometers along the coast.

It's a place where history meets modernity - traditional Omani buildings sit alongside modern cafes, all against a backdrop of breathtaking views of the Gulf of Oman and the Hajar Mountains.

The promenade is especially captivating during sunset, when the sky sparkles with a fever of colors. Nearby is a 16th century Portuguese fort and the famous Mutrah Souq market, one of the oldest bazaars in the Arab world, filled with the scent of frankincense and myrrh.
