Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt

The Nuremberg Christmas Market is one of the oldest and most famous Christmas markets in Germany, with a tradition dating back to 1530. There are over 160 wooden stalls with characteristic red and white roofs on the Hauptmarkt.

The market is famous for its handmade decorations, such as Rauschgoldengel (gold foil angels), dried plum figurines, and Lebkuchen gingerbread. A unique feature is the opening ceremony with the Christkind, an angelic figure played by a local girl.

There is a special Kinderweihnacht zone for children with carousels and workshops, while adults can enjoy traditional sausages and mulled wine.
