Flåmsbana

Flåmsbana is one of the most spectacular rail routes in the world. This 20-kilometer line runs from Myrdal to Flåm, overcoming an elevation difference of 867 meters and offering breathtaking views of Norwegian fjords, massive waterfalls and picturesque mountain farms.

The journey takes an hour, during which the train passes through 20 tunnels, 18 of which were excavated by hand. During the stop at the Kjosfossen waterfall, passengers can get off and take souvenir photos.

This is an ideal attraction for nature and history lovers, and can be combined with a fjord cruise or a hike on the surrounding trails.
