Wimbach Tal

Wimbach Tal is a unique valley in Berchtesgaden National Park, famous for its unusual geological formations. The main attraction is the 'Wimbachgries' - a spectacular debris flow 10 kilometers long and several hundred meters wide.

The valley offers a variety of hiking trails for admiring local flora and fauna. Worth noting is the Wimbachklamm Gorge located at the entrance to the valley - small, but stunning in its beauty.

The National Park Information Point provides educational materials about the geology and nature of the valley, making it an ideal place for nature and outdoor enthusiasts.
