Rennweger Glacis (Ringpark)

Rennweger Glacis (Ringpark) is a historic landscape garden in Würzburg, created from the former city fortifications in the 19th century.

This green ring, 3.3 kilometers long and up to 240 meters wide, is the 'green lungs' of the city. The park impresses with its diversity - more than 300 species of trees, picturesque fountains and monuments.

It is an ideal place for relaxation, picnics and outdoor activities. Especially noteworthy are the Pleicher See lake and charming corners like Klein-Nizza and Husarenwäldchen. For nature lovers, there are special information boards at the most interesting specimen trees.
