Stadtpark innerer Osten

Stadtpark innerer Osten is one of the oldest and largest parks in Regensburg, covering more than 8 hectares of green space.

It's a place that combines history with nature - linden trees were planted after the area was filled with earth from quarries used to build the city walls in the 16th century.

The park offers a variety of attractions: a city pond, a toboggan hill, a puppet theater and the Ostdeutsche Galerie, a museum of contemporary art.

The eastern part called 'Unter den Linden' and the western part 'Wittelsbacher Park' create a unique space, ideal for relaxation and active outdoor recreation.
