Description
Carillon is an impressive instrument consisting of 68 bells weighing a total of 48 tons, housed in a 42-meter tower of black granite in Tiergarten Park.
This unique monument was built to commemorate the carillons destroyed during World War II. From May to September, visitors can listen to live Sunday concerts that feature classical pieces as well as popular songs.
After the concert, climb the 190 steps to the top of the tower for a great view of Berlin and the surrounding government buildings.
