Neue Vinothek Juliusspital is a unique winery with a rich history dating back to 1576. It is housed in historic Baroque buildings, where you can enjoy Germany's longest, 250-meter-long cellar with wooden barrels.
It offers a wide selection of wines from its own vineyards, including Silvaner, Riesling, Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Noir. Wine culture enthusiasts can enjoy tastings and tours of the historic cellars.
Interestingly, the winery is part of a charitable foundation founded by Prince-Bishop Julius Echter von Mespelbrunn, modeled after the Hospices de Beaune in Burgundy.
