Description

Kasteel Duivenvoorde is one of the oldest castles in South Holland, dating back to 1226. It has never been sold, only inherited by several noble families.

The castle impresses with its mix of medieval and 17th-18th century architecture, as well as its unique collection of family portraits, silver, Delft and Chinese porcelain. A special attraction are two Roman plates from the early 3rd century.

The beautiful English-style park surrounding the castle offers scenic walking paths, ideal for relaxing and contemplating history.
