Houtzaagmolen de Gekroonde Poelenburg

Houtzaagmolen de Gekroonde Poelenburg is a historic windmill and sawmill in Zaandam, a gem of Dutch industrial heritage.

It is distinguished by its distinctive light green color and unusual shape with an open floor for cutting wood on three sides.

Originally built in 1866 in Koog aan de Zaan, it was later moved to the picturesque Zaanse Schans area. In 2004 it underwent a major renovation, restoring its original green color, making it one of the most colorful buildings in the area.
