Description
Naturkundemuseum Bamberg is a fascinating natural history museum housed in a 300-year-old former Jesuit college building.
Its gem is the Hall of Birds (Vogelsaal), one of the most beautiful historical natural history halls in the world, with over a thousand colorful bird specimens and richly decorated wooden panels.
The new Dinosaur Hall takes visitors on an interactive journey to the tropical world of Jurassic Europe. The museum also showcases the famous 'Würzburg Lied Stones' - historic fossil forgeries from the 18th century.
