Description

Reserva Natural de la Laguna de Fuente de Piedra is the largest lake in Andalusia and the second largest flamingo reserve in Europe. It's a true bird lover's paradise with more than 170 species, including spectacular colonies of pink flamingos.

The site has a fascinating history - the Romans called it the 'Divine Spring,' and Emperor Trajan himself brought water to Rome from here. A state-of-the-art visitor center offers binoculars, telescopes and observation trails to fully experience this unique ecosystem.
