Natural History Museum of Salento

The Salento Natural History Museum is the largest natural history museum in southern Italy, covering more than 2,000 square meters of exhibition space.

A unique attraction is the Mesocosmo, one of the largest butterfly houses in Italy, where you can immerse yourself in a simulated rainforest environment full of tropical butterflies and insects.

The museum is divided into two main paths: Vivarium and Wildlife Park, with sections dedicated to astronomy, mineralogy, paleontology and botany. It's a great place for nature lovers and families with children.
