Muzeum Kon-Tiki

The Kon-Tiki Museum is a fascinating site dedicated to the maritime expeditions of Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl.

See the original Kon-Tiki raft on which Heyerdahl sailed from Peru to Polynesia in 1947, and the Ra II reed boat that crossed the Atlantic.

You can watch an Oscar-winning documentary about the Kon-Tiki expedition every day at 12:00 pm. The museum also offers interactive exhibits, artifacts from Easter Island and the Galapagos, and fascinating photographs documenting Heyerdahl's groundbreaking research.
