Description
La Casa Amarilla is a unique historical monument in the heart of Arrecife, Lanzarote. This distinctive yellow building, once the seat of the local government (Cabildo), has been transformed into a fascinating cultural center.
After a major renovation (2002-2014), it has retained its original yellow-green facade, while gaining modern interiors. On the first floor, temporary ethnographic exhibitions are presented that explore Lanzarote's cultural heritage and history through texts, clothing and other artifacts.
Admission is free, making this place accessible to all history and culture lovers.
