Description
The Archbishop's Palace in Trondheim is a fascinating museum that takes you back to medieval Norway. The building, which has been the residence of archbishops since the late 12th century, impresses with its mix of medieval and Renaissance styles.
Among the 160,000 artifacts unearthed are the foundations of 100 buildings and three mints. The museum displays 120 medieval sculptures and the Norwegian Coronation Regalia, including the Royal Crown.
An additional attraction is the Armory Military Museum with a collection of weapons and uniforms from Viking times to World War II.
