Description
The Armory is one of the oldest museums in Norway, founded in 1826 as 'Den historiske våbensal'. It is housed in the Archbishop's Palace, which served as a defense for more than 300 years.
This fascinating place presents the military history of the Trøndelag region - from Viking times to World War II. Exhibits include weapons, uniforms and historical artifacts that candidly show the region's military past.
For lovers of military history and local culture, this is a must-see when visiting Trondheim.
