Bamberger Krippenmuseum

Bamberger Krippenmuseum is a unique museum dedicated to Christmas cribs from around the world. Here you will find one of the largest private systematic collections of its kind, created by Erk Baumann, a renowned restorer and builder of nativity scenes.

The museum boasts an extensive selection of historical and contemporary nativity scenes, including the world's largest Czech glass nativity scene. Every year the exhibition is refreshed with new exhibits, such as a Hundertwasser-style ceramic nativity scene from Switzerland and bronze nativity scenes.
