Description
The Oslo Ski Museum is the world's oldest museum dedicated to skiing, founded in 1923.
Located at the foot of the famous Holmenkollbakken ski hill, it showcases more than 4,000 years of skiing history. Among the 4,000 artifacts on display are prehistoric artifacts, skis used by the Vikings and equipment from famous polar explorers like Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen.
For children, there is an interactive 'Blåkollen' area where they can climb and play. The observation deck at the top of the hill offers a panoramic view of Oslo - the perfect place for souvenir photos.
