Description
The Munch Museum is a remarkable space dedicated to the work of one of Norway's most famous artists. The modern, 60-meter-high building with perforated aluminum panels houses the world's largest collection of one artist's work - more than 1,100 paintings, 1,5500 prints and 4,700 drawings by Munch.
The 'Infinite' exhibition presents the works thematically and chronologically, while 'Monumental' showcases the largest works, including 'Sun. The interactive 'Shadows' exhibit recreates the artist's life in Ekely, offering fun elements like hidden mouse holes and peepholes - an attraction for the whole family.
The observation deck offers a beautiful view of the Oslo fjord.
