Cat Museum Istanbul is Istanbul's first museum dedicated to cats, combining art, history and culture. It showcases a diverse collection of cat-inspired artworks, from fairy tales to comic books.

The museum highlights the deep bond between humans and cats, dating back thousands of years, including the Ottoman Empire's unique tradition of caring for street animals. Interestingly, 50% of the museum's profits go to help homeless cats, making it not only an art gallery, but also a social enterprise.
