Musée Jean Cocteau - Le Bastion is a unique museum dedicated to the work of Jean Cocteau, the multi-talented French artist.

The museum is housed in a historic 17th century fort that originally served as Menton's defense against attacks from the sea. Cocteau himself restored the Bastion and decorated its interior and exterior walls with pebble mosaics.

The collection includes drawings, paintings, ceramics and the artist's film memorabilia. New exhibitions are held every year, so you can always discover something fresh in Cocteau's work.
