Chippenham Museum

Chippenham Museum is a fascinating place housed in an 18th century townhouse in the heart of an English town.

The museum has an impressive collection of nearly 35,000 artifacts, ranging from the Neolithic period to the present day. Discover the history of the local textile industry, cheese making and railroad automation.

Of particular note is the extensive collection of art related to the region and more than 9,000 photographs and postcards. The museum regularly organizes temporary exhibitions, thematic walks and activities for families. Admission is free!
