Museum of Islamic Art

Museum of Islamic Art is an architectural gem of Doha, designed by the famous I.M. Pei. Located on an artificial peninsula, the museum impresses with its geometric facade of creamy limestone that changes appearance with the light of day.

The interior, with its impressive atrium and glass wall, offers panoramic views of the Bay. The collection spans more than 1,400 years of Islamic art - from metalwork to ceramics, jewelry and textiles from three continents.

The gem of the collection is a page from the Blue Quran, an indigo stained manuscript created more than 1,000 years ago.
