The Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Menton is a jewel of Baroque architecture on the Côte d'Azur. This majestic basilica, whose construction began in 1640, impresses with its classical façade with eight Corinthian columns and three niches with statues.

The interior of the church is decorated with beautiful frescoes, and the monumental staircase leading to the entrance adds even more splendor to the whole. In 1999, Pope John Paul II elevated the church to the rank of basilica minor, recognizing its historical and cultural significance.
