Description
The St. Budolfi Cathedral in Aalborg is an imposing Gothic church that is the heart of the Danish city of Aalborg. Its distinctive 63.5-meter tower with baroque dome towers over the city skyline.
One of the cathedral's most fascinating features is the carillon, consisting of 48 bells, which plays melodies every hour tailored to the seasons and religious holidays. The heaviest bell weighs as much as 1,250 kg!
The interior impresses with a richly decorated pulpit dating back to 1692, a Baroque altar and a baptismal font of white and black marble. It is a true gem for lovers of sacred art and architecture.
