The Lozärner Wiehnachtsmärt is Lucerne's most traditional Christmas market, enchanting visitors with its atmosphere and handicrafts.
Around 70 stalls offer handmade gifts, herbs, teas, Christmas cookies, and candles. The centerpiece is the largest Advent wreath in Central Switzerland, with a diameter of over 3 meters, placed on the Franziskanerbrunnen fountain, decorated with hundreds of lights and four candles.
The air is filled with the aromas of gingerbread, spices, and mulled wine, and daily performances by local brass bands and choirs add to the magical atmosphere of what Time Out has named one of the most beautiful markets in Europe.
