Erfurter Weihnachtsmarkt

Erfurter Weihnachtsmarkt is the largest Christmas market in Thuringia, stretching across the historic old town of Erfurt. The magical atmosphere is created by a 25-meter Christmas tree, a 12-meter rotating pyramid with 30 carved figures, and a fairytale forest with folklore characters.

The stalls offer traditional Thuringian delicacies such as bratwurst and mulled wine, as well as handmade crafts, jewelry, and souvenirs. The market is famous for its local art and eco-friendly baking workshops for children.

Patrician and half-timbered houses create a unique backdrop for this special event.
