Lockhart State Park

Lockhart State Park is an oasis of tranquility and outdoor activity. The historic 9-hole course, surrounded by trees and rolling hills, provides a challenge for golfers of all experience levels.

The park offers a variety of activities - from hiking trails with abundant vegetation and wildlife, to fishing in Clear Fork Creek (no license required), to a historic swimming pool open during the summer months.

For nature lovers, there is the Creekview Nature Trail with beautiful views of the creek. The place is perfect for both a family picnic and a solo hike for geocaching.
