Klostergården Tautra

Clostergården Tautra is a unique place with a rich history, located on the picturesque island of Tautra next to the ruins of a medieval Cistercian monastery dating back to 1207.

The 17th-century farmhouse offers cozy rooms with views of the Trondheimsfjord and a restaurant serving traditional and innovative dishes made from local products.

There is an on-site brewery producing 20 different types of beer, including the award-winning Alstadberger brewed according to old traditions from local, smoked malt. The farm store sells its own produce and products from the Trøndelag region.
