The restaurant's specialty is petiscos - small Portuguese snacks prepared with selected local products. Each dish delights with its authentic taste and careful execution.

Owner Alvaro personally cares about the quality of service and can tell you about each dish in several languages. The restaurant also offers options for vegans and people on special diets, so there is something for everyone in this cozy place.

avatarGrace Amelia2 weeks agoThis was by far the best meal I had in Portugal! The food and service were both spectacular and so, so homely and authentic. I was there as a solo female traveller — so eating alone can always feel a bit awkward — but I felt super at ease here. I take it it’s family-run and the wife is the chef and the husband and daughter the waiters; the love and effort gone into the place was really palpable. If you’re visiting Porto you must stop for a meal here — a genuinely delightful experience all-round.

avatarJoseph Glaccum2 months agoSuper super authentic. Husband is the waiter and wife is the chef. Great food and an absolute delight of an experience. We sat out on the patio which is on a pedestrian only space right next to a big green space. It's not the place you would typically think of as good for kids, but if they're adventurous eaters it actually worked out great for us. And as is typical with true Portuguese people, they were great and accommodating of our 3 and 7 year old.
