Description
The Rača Cave is a fascinating archaeological and geological monument on the Croatian island of Lastovo. This 70-meter-long cave was inhabited since the early Stone Age, as evidenced by numerous artifacts, including a unique double-sided razor with an engraved cross.
The interior of the cave is stunning with spacious chambers separated by walls and rich formations of stalagmites and stalactites. It is also home to a colony of bats, including endangered species.
All you need to explore is a flashlight and comfortable shoes. It is an ideal place for history and nature lovers, combining prehistoric heritage with natural wonders.
