Description
Lions Fountain is a unique fountain located in the Blumfield Garden in Jerusalem. Designed by German sculptor Gernot Rumpf, it was installed in 1989 as a gift from the West German government.
The centerpiece of the fountain is the Tree of Life, symbolizing the peaceful coexistence of the three major religions. It is decorated with lions inspired by the symbol of Jerusalem and exotic animals.
On hot days, the fountain becomes a favorite playground for children, and its unique design attracts photographers. It is the perfect place to take a break while exploring the Old City.
