Ariel Sharon Park

Ariel Sharon Park is a unique environmental rehabilitation project, transformed from a 60-meter 'Hiriya' landfill into a vibrant metropolitan park. This green area of more than 400 hectares offers an unusual combination of environmental education and recreation.

The park is famous for its advanced biological systems that reduce urban waste by more than 90%, while producing bio-gas to generate electricity. You'll find a scenic lake ideal for birdwatching and kayaking, playgrounds, jogging paths and outdoor exercise equipment.

From its top, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Tel Aviv skyline.
