Description
Villa Fondi De Sangro is a neoclassical treasure built in 1840 by Prince Giovanni Andrea De Sangro.
This place combines history, culture and nature - you'll find a Regional Archaeological Museum with exhibits from prehistoric times to the Roman period.
A spacious park full of olive trees, palms and cacti offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Particularly charming is the viewing terrace and the mosaic of nymphs from a Julio-Claudian period coastal villa, considered one of the most beautiful examples of the genre in Campania.
