Description
Via Krupp is a historic serpentine path carved into the cliffs of Capri, Italy. Designed in 1902 at the behest of German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp, it connects the Carthusian San Giacomo and Augusta Gardens to Marina Piccola.
This engineering gem offers breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Faraglioni rock formations and the lush vegetation along the cliffs. The path descends nearly 100 meters and is famous for its distinctive zigzag shape.
After a nine-year hiatus due to the threat of falling rocks, Via Krupp reopened in 2023.
