Castello di Aymavilles

The Castello di Aymavilles is a unique castle that evolved from a medieval fortress into an elegant Baroque and Rococo residence. Its four massive corner towers and double walls recall its defensive past, while its elegant loggias with ornate stuccoed walls attest to its later, sophisticated transformations.

A terraced park with ornamental plants and white roses surrounds the castle, offering picturesque views of the Aosta Valley and surrounding mountains. Inside is a museum showcasing the collections of the Académie Saint-Anselme, reflecting the passion of the last descendant of the Challant family for art and historical artifacts.
