Aquarium of Salento

Aquarium of Salento is a unique place where you can discover the fascinating world of the marine depths. Divided into four thematic rooms, the aquarium presents a variety of species typical of the Ionian Sea - fish, mollusks, crustaceans and echinoderms living at depths of up to 25 meters.

Interactive exhibitions and 17 pools of seawater allow close encounters with nature. Particularly admirable is the initiative to periodically release specimens back into the sea, which underscores the aquarium's commitment to environmental protection.

Guided tours available in Italian and English make the visit not only entertaining, but also a valuable lesson in ecology.
