Description
Park Meir is a charming oasis of greenery in the heart of Tel Aviv, named after the city's first mayor, Meir Dizengoff. This intimate park, after years of neglect, was beautifully restored in the 1980s and today offers a tranquil space with tall palm trees, shady spots and picnic benches.
Children will enjoy the colorful playground and hydraulic exercise equipment, while history buffs will appreciate the bronze statues of King Asa of Judah and King Jehoshaphat of Israel. The park is also the site of popular weekend events, especially in the summer.
