Description
Hurlers Stone Circles is a fascinating group of three prehistoric stone circles located on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.
This unique formation dates back to the late Neolithic or early Bronze Age and is distinguished by its unusual arrangement of three circles in a straight line - the only one of its kind in England.
According to local legend, the stones are fossilized men who were punished for playing hurling on Sunday. There are also other fascinating sights nearby, such as Trethevy Quoit and the Cheesewring rock formation, together creating a remarkable ceremonial landscape of ancient Cornwall.
