Gombos-hegyi Pincesor és Kálvária parkoló

The Gombos-hegyi Pincesor és Kálvária parkoló is a free parking lot that provides a gateway to the fascinating world of historic wine cellars and the Calvary path.

This unique complex includes some 80 rock-cut cellars, arranged in three rows on a hillside, dating back to the mid-18th century. The site is part of the UNESCO-listed Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region.

Above the cellars is the 14-station Calvary Path, leading to the hilltop chapel, which also serves as a vantage point offering a spectacular panoramic view of the village of Hercegkút and the surrounding hills of Zemplén.
