Double Haven Country Trail (Starting Point)

Double Haven Country Trail (Starting Point) is a scenic walking trail in the northeastern part of Hong Kong's New Territories. The approximately 8-kilometer-long trail runs through mature forests, along streams and the coast, offering breathtaking views of pristine bays and rock formations.

The trail passes through the historic Hakka village of Lai Chi Wo, more than 300 years old. During the hike you can encounter a variety of flora and fauna, and if you're lucky, hear barking muntjac deer.

The eastern part of the route is rich in mangrove forests, where you can observe fiddler crabs and mugilidae fish at low tide.
